I am actually going to recommend something else besides hot glue and Loctite (which is really just super glue).

You could use those to tack, but I am recommending DAP's silicone rubber. I have tested it out, and the thing is freaking solid. Of course, there's epoxy as well.

I was standing there debating wether or not to get epoxy. In the end I thought it was overkill. But I am rethinking that now.

Great mod Tony! I got HID AEs from John, which are awesome. Modding the AEs to make them brighter is one of the best appearance mods out there.

I am glad they are working well for you. I had Johns HID's as well but they started giving me problems. After a couple of messages I decided to get rid of them and go with my original choice. Orion V2's.

So far, so good.

Ok, she went to the little girls room... Here are a couple of shots.

So far, I have one side painted and both clear lenses in. Tomorrow I will paint the other side, position the orions and test.

Nice!

Quite honestly, the clear lens swap for the LCI xenons are ridiculously easy. I wish you had to fight the pre-LCI adaptive xenons, hahaha.

The ones from John that worked the best are the latest generation which combines HID bulbs with coding to make the car not throw an error message (as opposed to the earlier versions that had a number of cables. I still have them in and they are perfect.

Orions are great stuff Tony. Use them well.

Yeah, I was surprised at how easy that part was. I was just hoping not to break one of the metal tabs or crack the lens because of the metal pressure ring.
