Hey everyone,
It's new tire season for me as my rear ones have gone bald.
I just have stock Dunlops RF's right now, but I want to switch to something more performance oriented.
So Q's for you :
1) What tires are you rockin?
2) How much did you pay?
3) Were they worth it?
Thanks guys and gents !

1) What tires are you rockin? - Falken ST-115
2) How much did you pay? - about $175 a tire
3) Were they worth it? - well worth it, however I should have gone 285 rear instead of 275..next time

I am running the Nitto 555's I love them not sure what I paid for them.
I used to have the 555's on my S500, HATED THEM! Even a freaking staple would pop those tires. I had 2 flats in 3 months...
If i do 285 in the rear (I have stock Sport 18" Rims) thats 285/30-18 I need instead of 275/35-18 ...right?
I might consider the exclaims, but I want to have premium tires, on a premium car.

i was wondering do you really have to follow the inside outside on the tires? some tires it says to mount it on the outside but could u flip that to the inside?

I got rid of the run flats as they were like riding on bricks. They are also a fortune to replace. I was also lucky because my car came with a spare. I got Bridgstone Potenza RE760 at tirerack for 766 delivered for all 4. I took them to the BMW dealer for mount and balance for another 186.00.
I am very happy, the ride is 5x better and the tires handle great and are much quieter. The rear end of my car is more stable with no bounce steer as I had with the RF. Turn in and steering response is not quite as sharp as the rf but the trade off is well worth it.
Very Happy and the tire looks cool. Also my 6 year old and I watch Formula 1 and there was no way I could get any tire other then a Bridgestone since they are the only tire run in the series or he was going to disown me.

I just changed and switched to RFT pirelli Pzero. Definitely less noisy than the good year, and I do have the feeling it handles substantially better on dry, similar on wet, poor on cold snowy and icy road (obvious these days), even with 4 wheels drives, but these are not really all weather type tires. Yet got 'good price' considering these are RFT. 1100 euros for all 4 wheels + balancing and car wash + wax. All other brands were more expensive.
