What Tires Should I purchase?, I need run-flats in Los Angeles -- since changing a tire on a freeway without a shoulder is crazy.

Ok, so my rear tires are coming to an end. (13,000 miles)
I currently have the RFT Bridgestone tires. I have been happy with them. (it is definetely the ride-on-rails feeling)

I have already eliminated dunlops as a choice for me -- based on feedback in the forum.

Initial investment size is not a current concern, although overall tread-life is. (I want a good investment in my fun)

I think I should eliminate some of these choices since they dont have the load-bearing capability as some.

(the original tires had a Load Index of 93)

Also, my wife is expecting, -- so the ride can't be harsher that our current setup.

thanks all in-advance for "steering" me to the right set of tires.

Are you suggesting that your wife is increasing your load factor?

None of the above, but if those are the only choices, I would go with Yokohama AVS.

I went with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A RFT 93Y

The car is smoother already.

I had to do it early -- since i got a nail in the tire at work.

I just did the back 2 tires to start with. The fronts still have plenty of tread.

The tires I had originally were w rated (not y)

of course the place scratched one of my rims -- (!@#$!)
always something....

I am selling my bridgestone run-flats if you are interested, they have 3000 miles.
