I just bought an 04 545i and thinking of upgrading wheels to 20" s. What tire size do most use? I have some fairly new Toyo T1R 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 (brand new rear) that I would like to reuse that came off my G35. Will these sizes be ok? Will this affect my speedometer at all? Thanks for all input.

I think this may help you as these are the specs of the wheels I have on my car.

Front 8.5in, Rear 10in.
Offset : 35
Number of Studs: 5
Stud Diameter: 120

Tyres are : Falken
Front: 255/30/ZR20 92Y Extra Load
Rear: 285/25/ZR20 93Y Extra Load

Please note the above offset is incorrect for a 5 series but it is that of my wheels which I managed to correct with spacers and extenders. I think but dont quote me it should be something like 55. I have 10mm spacers on the back and 20mm extenders on the front.

The tyres are exactly right not to affect the speedometer, hope this helps.

Please see my gallery in my sig and comment.
