Until this I've thought that M5 trunk spoiler and mtech spoiler are the same... Are they?
They are different ... I couldn't find any pics from Trinity Autosport's web site.

M5 is subtle and clean looking,

M-tech has a gap between the spoiler and the trunk,

Based on your needs, it sounds like the M5 trunk spoiler would be a good match.

Cool

no spoiler necessary, especially with the finisher. that trunk lid is high enough as it is! E60 got a big ol' butt! oh yeah! E60 got a big ol' butt!

My vote is for the OEM M-tech (I gather that means M5 spoiler), as it was what I mounted on mine!!

None! Even the OEM M5 spoiler looks tacked on. Leave the whale tails to Porkchops!

Nekkid bangle bootay! Pictures are worth 1000 words to just say no.

+1 This would work great. Painted to match your car obviously, but with just a touch of CF.
Downside, a bit pricey.

I'm on the fence on a spoiler as well. M5 spoiler is probably the way to go to achieve the look that you want, and the price isn't outrageous.

If not, you can use it outside as a bench.

...Now it's time for a new one!
I ordered a trunk finisher for my car, and now I'm wondering if I needed a spoiler to finish the look...?
I already have a ACS style roof spoiler, but I don't want to go with the ACS trunk spoiler. I want to keep the rear quite simple, and I think I might have some problems at winter time with a relatively large spoiler like an ACS.

And the present state again:

PS. I have looked different spoilers so much now and tried to consider different options that I need some help !
I'm in the same boat about the spoiler and have same setup currently (w. ACS roof and M-Tech kit). My ACS trunk spoiler has been sitting in the garage since day 1, not sure whether I like that look or not.
