With my SMG car, there were all kinds of buzzing and whirring noises -- on wakeup, on sleep, or sometimes what seemed to be simply random.
ah ha! so that's what they are...LOL!

Go ahead with the purchase of the H&R Sport springs. WP is where I bought my Sport springs from. You don't have self-leveling.
I had the same question....just listen to VT.

As far as self-leveling suspensions, I thought that the Touring models have it but not the sedans. I could be wrong about that though...
The Touring has it on the rear axel as standard. If you go for the Active Suspension version you'll get the "advanced" version with computers telling your car to behave... . And that's both axels. AS is both for sedans as well as Tourings, but not with the M-sport package. Again, if AS is an option in each country remains an open issue...

If you have sport suspension you'll have self leveling in the rear. Take the car to wheel power and have them look at it. You probably have active steering too. Also call the dealer give em you're vin and they can tell you

Are you 100% sure about this? I talked to VT and he assured me 100% that the self-leveling ONLY comes with the Touring (station wagon) E60's. I'm getting confused here.

I have to set the record straight here. There are NO e60 sedans in the US that self-leveling. Self-leveling is only available on the e61 touring model. What makes you think Wheel Power would know more than the folks here who have e60s? Here's some of my proof that support my claims that self-leveling is only for the e61 touring model:

Now, if you cannot substantiate your claims that Sport suspension e60 SEDANs have self-leveling PLEASE stop spreading mis-information. Thank you.

Please be cautious when you go out and spend money on suspension with out knowing your current setup, thats pretty much what point I was trying to make I was asked 3 times by seperate shops and vendors if i had air ride and self adjusting sway bars when I went to order my setup and I didnt have any idea if I did, So I went to a few shops and had them look underneath. Dude i respect all that have you suggested your car is sweet i have no beef.
