Rang the dealers, they say it's a profesional nav unit but it looks nothing like it. Thought it maybe a business unit but again says harman becker on the label

Not too sure what this part is: -

It looks like the DVD drive for the SAT NAV.

I thought you get a DVD drive and a CD slot?

This is M-ASK unit (Audio System Controller) what means Business nav with DVD drive (MP3 capable) and Radio Professional with TMC (double tuner)

Nicke60gre are you 100% sure this is a business nav unit and not just a professional CD unit for logic 7?

Clearly not a professional nav unit since it's not a CCC, it's a M-ASK. Also, if it were a pro-nav system, it would have a second disc slot for the map DVD.

Not sure why the part isn't listed on realoem but the closest I can get to it is here:

Still not sure, is it a nav unit or not? My just plugging it in a see what happens, a good idea or can I wreck my car by doing it?

This is not a Business Nav. unit since there is only one antenna (next to fan). Business Nav. has two antennas, one for radio & one for GPS, which is located on the other end of the unit.
