The car should have Castrol 5W-30 LL01 in it (called BMW synthetic in the USA I think )

Long life 04 is starting to be released around the world by castrol and will replace LL01
Mobil 1 0W-40 is also approved under the Long Life 01 specs

The German made Castrol Syntec 0W-30 meets all BMW specs.
