How about just putting winter tires on your 124s?
My personal opinion is that those wheels are more fitting on a Japanese car than on an E60 but that's just personal taste. What's more important and a potential cause for concern is that those wheels are generically made to fit a variety of cars (notice the 10 lug nut holes) so they are probably not hubcentric fit to an E60. You may need to get hubcentric rings or confirm with TireRack that they will work without those rings.
