LM2 came on all post Sep 2006 cars, so 6 months before LCI came out.

Also, by default LM2 does NOT give you full 12v to the rods.

In fact, all the other bulbs should get 12v (or thereabouts), and the depo rod connectors must get their voltage source from one of these, use a volt meter to the rod power connection and measure what's going to it. Also beware that the LED type they've used could be different to the LEDs used for the OEM rods so you might want to be careful before pumping them with higher voltage, the LEDs may fuse.

The tails look good, but I don't know if the bars are lit up as evenly as the LCI. Regardless the LCI tails are one of the best upgrades you can do to refresh the car. I still think that the taillights are some of the nicest out of most cars out. I get complimented all the time when friends are behind me about the lights. I also have the ricky brake effect when v6.1 was released.

I'll try to take some tonight. Its honestly hard to probably compare the 2 headlights from just pictures alone, the ones I saw may light up better when you see them in person, you would almost need to do pics of 2 cars side by side since pictures can be different from cameras.

Hey. Any of you guys are having issues with these lights? My left taillight is making a noise from one of the two boxes and the side leds are coming on and off while i step on the brake pedal. It only happens when i step on it. Anybody else??

side leds coming on only on braking is normal on retrofits, same should happen with the rods since they're linked (at least on the oem tails). That noise probably just needs a capacitor to smooth out the power supply
