My Ride: Stock 2004 530i with most options. 18" M5 look alike wheels Bought August 2008 with 34k on it. 2006 Range Rover Sport with K&N filter and Borla cat back exhaust. Maybe a Defender soon or an old M3 to play with, although the wife has other ideas!

Hello All-

Relative new to the forum and thinking about some small mods for my 04 530i. With a budget of 1200 and max of 1500, what would you do? I have upgraded the wheels and tires to a staggered fitment and also bought the BMW MOST iPod integration kit for the iDrive. I also tinted the windows 35%. I am not interested in engine mods or go fast parts (I am close to completing a deal on an 03 Carrera C4 so the need for speed is going to be well satisfied) I thought of buying blackout grills or maybe a decklid spoiler like the M5. An Mtech front bumper? Maybe exhaust if it has a nice sound but quiet inside? Anyone want to put in their two cents?

Thanks for sharing.

Scott

if you can stretch your budget, I'd get a full mtech kit. Really changes your car.

Hi Scott

Ask Hartsa.

He has a really nice sounding and looking Supersprint -exhaust system on his 520i.

It didn't cost much, either, well in your budget.

PS. Did you debadge your car and get Euro reflectors already?

I would do the M Tech front bumper + lowering springs. I have seen a couple E60 with just the front bumper and if they have nice wheels and a decent drop it looks great with just the front bumper.

Post up some pics of what the car looks like now. What wheels you running?

That budget seems perfect for our quad exhaust !

We also have a single exhaust around 650 + S/H! :
