What are different custom quad setups???

My Ride: 2004 530i, Alpine white, M-Tech Kit, 20" Asanti af-128 rims, Roof painted Black.

For people who have done custom quad exhaust i have 1 magnaflow muffler and my two tips, what different kinds of setups to convert this into quads. I am goin to use the one magnaflow to replace the rear pancake resonator.
Please if you have pic of how it look under the car post them that would help alot to see it first...

For ex. Where to cutt and What to add.
Do i need any X or Y pipe?

Thanks a bunch i am goin to american muffler next friday i wanna know exactly what to tell them..

Heres mine, I should have gone with a dual inlet dual out. They used a Y pipe. I figure that the dual in dual out would lose less power.

This is how mine was they cut right before the resonator. I didnt use an X-Pipe

Ok so if i am looking right it a y pipe a small pipe from the y pipe to the muffler?

our typical setup that we do is a 2in/2out muffler up where the front resonators are, then piping down on each side, with a cylindrical muffler on each side to the tips.
