So is the only way to fix a wheel with a chrome lip to re-chrome it? there isn't a spot touch up available??

no... there is no touch up. Hit up MagMasters, they do a great job. I think they quoted me 150 for rechrome.

sorry to hear steven, pm macfly....he had some wheel/curb rash earlier this year that he had repaired (unless he wet to the same place AW just recc'd)

Sorry to hear that, Steven! I believe this was 12 years ago when I had mine done somewhere in the City of Orange...sorry I couldn't remember the name. But this would be an option if you didn't want to drive to LA.
