Hey guys, I'm going to be doing my wheels in black and was wondering what the better option was, Powder coating or Paint? Does anyone in the socal area know of a good place to go to? How much should i expect to pay for each wheel?

Definitely POWDERCOAT! It has a better bond between color and metal, and last much longer!!

+1 Agreed. Powdercoating involves a process where the paint is bonded to the surface via an electric charge. Powdercoating is a lot more durable.

+2, looks better IMO, if you don't have them already might want to grab some low dust brake pads as well (Axxis makes some good ones)...GL

Also, The Wheel Supply (TWS) in Rowland Heights will PC your wheels- decent price. I think it's a 1 day turnaround.

Powder coat is it. Dropping off my rims today and hopefully I'll have my second set on by next week!
