hmm....put me down for the 535, of course! i'd much prefer the quad set up, but if E can show me something.....let's do this!
So does this mean you would convert back to a dual setup?

i'd much prefer the quads for the looks, but if we can get HP gains with the dual....i'm down.

but pass this on to E, look at how many 535 owners prefer a quad set up vs. duals....

Out of 45 voters, 33 ppl much preferred quads...that's over 73%!

if you take e60.net as a base for your potential customers, you are buidling a product towards 27% of the potential customer base.

EXACTLY....STEP UP Joe/Eloy.

If you can build one for the M5/M6 folks, you can surely build a Quad Exhaust for the V8's and Twin Turbos. And remember one thing. This will be a Test Run for the V-8 Twin Turbo coming in September of 09. "WhOOpS"....I was told today not to tell anybody that.

Although from a business standpoint, I could see how it would be better to offer initially a dual set-up. As this would be a larger market (both stock and mod'd). By making the quad set-up first, one would be limiting their potential customer's to those that have a custom diffuser with a quad cut out or an M5 rear to accommodate the quad exhaust.

Well said, Gene.

Believe me, Eloy would love to fabricate a quad setup for the 550i/545i/535i but it doesn't make sound business sense to start off introducing the RPI exhaust for a small minority. Facts are the dual setup is the right path financially.

Joe,

Please keep me updated on your efforts in building an exhaust for the 535i - I will be purchasing an aftermarket exhaust, I've just been waiting for something decent to hit the market. As you know, we currently have very limited choices. I'm more interested in a good quality exhaust that makes power, and actually prefer the dual setup over quads. Best of luck on the new product,

Brian
