WANTED: 545i/550i for prototype RPI exhaust
Notice he said he's giving away dynos for free. Not the dyno session mind you, the actual dyno itself. Clear your garages everyone!
And JT, don't be like AFE and not deliver on your promise. LOL!

As many of you know, RPI doesn't sell mods that don't make or more importantly LOSE power. We want to provide to the non-M5 owners the same opportunity as the M5 owners, that is to experience the joy of hearing and owning a RPI exhaust. We're looking for a 545i/550i in Los Angeles to come in for preliminary R&D. You would have to leave your car for at least a week, maybe two. The exhaust will be offered at a very generous price and free dynos. Please PM me if interested.
I know that there will be some asking if quads can be available. That is a possibility later down the road. At this point, only the single sided application is in scope.

Not sure if the 535i can use the same exhaust system as the N/A engines.
You would drive your 545i from Texas to LA if it were so and leave it here for at least 1 - 2 weeks?

PM'd
The folks that attend the SLO meet on 11/15 will be in for a nice treat. There will be four M5s in attendance with the RPI exhaust so you can get an idea what the RPI exhaust characteristics would sound like on a V8 and I6. Of course, keep in mind you'll be hearing V10 with the RPI exhaust so the note will be be different on the V8 and I6. The aim is to have the same exhaust profile as the M5 brethren.

Ask Eloy if they want to use my 08 550i with an already Custom Quad from Triple AAA and replace it with an RPI Custom exhaust? We can dyno it first with Triple AAA-X-Pipe Quad, then with his Scoop added and then with his Exhaust after? We'll get three different readings and it will be used as a Benchmark for BMW V-8 Quad's all over the world!
Just a thought?

Let me know.

No RPI quad setup for the 545i/550i at this point, but will keep you in mind.
