Seen many DIY's for painting the rotors and calipers.. what other options do I have?

Those cheap ass covers, but I would NOT suggest going that route. Paint them.

Is it that simple? Take off the wheel, take off the pad, spray it and put them both back on?
Also will the color stay after a couple of winter's?
