You definately want to torque the lugs down...I normally do it at 80ft lbs...Post pics after your done!

Ok I am getting 80 lbs and 90 lbs... which one is it?

Dare I say I have never used a torque wrench

Which one should I get? How about this one?

I asked a BMW tech....and he recommended 80 lbs.....the wheels have not came out yet What the hell go 85 lbs.

Ok I got a torque wrench I just need to get a confirmation on the torque is it 80 or 90 lbs?

My Ride: 2005 530i, Orient Blue, M-tech Front, otherwise stock.

As someone stated earlier, the manual they have seems to say to torque to 120nm or 88.5lb/ft. 80lb/ft seems to be a standard for all cars to use where it will not be over tightening or being too loose. I asked at America's Tire Company before and they said they torque all cars to 80lb/ft. So you can do the 88.5lb/ft to be to exact spec, if you did 80, it probably wouldn't be bad and would still be ok.

Ok I'll torque 'em to like 85lbs
