Hah, I remember posting in your thread. It's possible if you upgrade to LCI halogen. Obviously it's a matter of spending the dough
On my headlights, I do have white eyebrows. Though, with how the fins lit, it seem rather unnecessary actually. I think it would look good without eyebrows altogether and the top part just tinted black to make it look more aggressive.

keeping my fingers crossed in the spring ill be able to contact you and send you a fresh pair of lci halogens for you to tear into for me...

Simon,
I just read through your entire headlight mod post. That was very very impressive work. Thank you for being a true innovator.
What was the final verdict on the LED turn signal bulbs? You mentioned that the ones you currently employ might be a bit underpowered when compared to all the LED's in the fins.
Looking forward to your reply. Congrats on the fantastic mod!

Thanks buddy. It's rather fun I suppose. Never run out of mods to do I swear, lol.
For the LED turn signals I currently have... Truthfully they're probably fine. If someone is looking at the car, you definitely can't miss it, but like I said, I am probably just not used to it since they were incredibly visible by themselves before.
Keep in mind, the LED turn signals I have are rated to be 800 lumen as well, so it gives you an idea how bright these fins are.
Having said that, I am receiving a set of test LED turn signals tomorrow. I don't have all the details of its specs, but looking at the design, it should be brighter than what I currently have. I'll keep you guys posted.

So good news and bad news.
Good news is that the delivery was a day early, and got my turn signal bulb.
Bad news, it's one. A single unit. What the crap. I made a mistake and didn't notice these are sold individually. Each of these bulbs are $40, wtf, lol.
I'll be testing it later to see if it indeed is noticeably brighter, otherwise I may be returning this unit.

So word about the new turn signal bulb. It is brighter, but seems very minimal, at least in day time. If I were to estimate, I would probably say it's 10-15% brighter. At about $80 a pair, I am not sure it's worth the upgrade... I'll test it out in the evening and see.
