Just wanted to let everyone know that we just picked up a '07 550i ... all options except adaptive cruise and hud.

Based on the feedback we've been getting from selling custom offsets for E60 customers, I feel that the market is under served in terms of wheels. For those of you not familiar with us, we are the manufacturers for VMR Wheels. I mainly work on the design and production side, with a solid 3 months each year at our factory to coordinate logistics.

In the short term, I will have more E60 fitments to be made. And just over the the horizon, you'll see more E60-specific fitments in 18, 19, and 20".

And as for the E60: The car will be taken apart for measurements, test fitting, all the good stuff so that I can determine the optimal fitments for the E60. This will involve mounting, dismounting, test driving, you name it. This car will not stay stock for long!!

Any questions or comments, feel free to PM or email me at any time!

You need to make some 20's!!! I'd buy those new Monoblock P40 replicas you are coming out with soon in second if you made them as dubs, and I know a lot of other guys here would do the same.

ET fronts on the M5 can go as low as ET0 without rubbing on OEM sized tires & 8.5" rims (OEM front is ET12). Rears can go ET18 for max push (on a 9.5" wheel....OEM rear offset is ET28).

If offsets were guaranteed to be exact, a 9" Front ET6-ET8 and a 10" Rear ET24-ET26 in 20's would be ideal for the M5, keeping the OEM width tires. If I planned on 305's in the rear, you'd have to come out with a 10.5" rear.

DO IT!

P.S. I had a set of your CSL's, via Gideon, on my old xi.

I purchased some great looking V714s from VMR a few weeks ago.
Just got them installed the other day, however it has been raining here and I have not had a chance to wash the vehicle.
As soon as I do I will post some pictures

Size: 20 x 8.5? with Hankook Ventus S1 evo 245/30ZR20 from Tire Rack.

Here is the link to the Wheels.

Damn Doc... sounds like you've done your math homework for wheel offsets and sizes.

Peter,

Congratulation the purchase of the 550i, stunning car, cant wait to see the mods you guys do. I really liked the V708's and had you guys had a set that would work on my 545i, I would have purchased a set instead of my 166 wheels. (I need some 20's Hint, Hint)
