I just had some new 20's installed and I noticed when I was driving home, a slight vibration when I started getting up to around 40-60 mph. I've noticed a few posts where people are talking about RINGS, you can buy, to cure the problem.

It could just be a balancing issue but if that's not it, I need to find a cure.. Any input on where I can purchase some of these rings would be much appreciated..

A few weeks ago I went from 16" to 18" (124s) and had the same issue at the same speeds. Went back to BMW and had the wheels rebalanced and all is great since. Good Luck!

Slight vibration to be expected given the much larger tyres and road surface contact.

Why not have whoever installed them get the rings for you? It may need spacers, balancing or the tire pressures adjusted.

There should be no need for rings on a quality wheel setup for your car. These are frequently used for multiple fit applications, but that shouldn't be the case on a 20 " wheel setup. If it is, you've got the wrong set of wheels. Some quality manufacturers use rings, but I've got the feeling that ain't your problem. Most likely poor balancing, our of round wheels, tires, or all three. Hope this helps...
