Ok i have just recently put on my MRR 19" rims and left for vegas and now i'm back in town and i just got back from the dealership and i want to put my 20" rims on and i can not find my wheel LOck. And i know i have placed it in the glovebox with my two other snap on sockets which is still there except my wheel locks. The last time i went to the dealership i left it on the ash tray so they can remove my rims but after i got back from the dealership they never returned my lock. I called my SA they said it should be there. That is how i lost my first set of locks and now i just got my car back from the dealer yesterday and my second lock is gone. Now of course i can not blame them, they would say i misplaced it. But know for sure i did not misplace wheel locks. My conclusion is why would the dealer want to steal my wheel locks? I know where the wheel locks are placed, they should be in my glove box. Now i cannot put on my 20 inch rims because i do not have both of the wheel locks how do i remove them. They are bmw wheel locks that i've purchased from the dealer. Any idea...

Sorry to hear. Might try asking BMW if they can get them replaced.

You gotta talk to the SA and the tech. The SA hardly goes into the garrage so it's mostly the tech who worked on your car. If the SA can't help you, bring it to the Service Manager. It may help if you indicate that you intend to file a complaint against them with BMWUSA. Good luck!

I sure they are sitting on top of the tech's tool bench/tool box. If the SA takes the time to walk out there he will find them.

Hope they find it! If not you are screwed because there is 7 or 8 different types for the lock.
I thought i lost mine one day and was told i had to order 1 of each!
After you get wheels/tires worked on always look for the lock before you leave.

Also, take pics of your key to locks. Or you can take some clay and make an impression of your locks. Manufact can then help you identify correct key.
