If forum members in the SoCal area are in need of E60 mods and installations, I'd highly recommend Joe...screen name "R1Racer." Today Joe wrapped up the successful installation of my Predator ICE Angel Eye / luminescent ring LED enhancers, and, as you can see below...

...they look great. PM Joe--who's located down in Orange County--if you need help with E60 mods. That's Joe's black nicely-modified 545i to the right, in the photo.

(Now if I can find a quick and simple way to disable DRL, those newly bright rings can actually be seen in the daytime!)

You can disable DRL's from within the I-Drive menu, but if you have the older software... the only way to do it is by taking it to the dealer.

They look great. How long did it take for total installation?

Yup, Tony, I was one of the two Predator raffle winners, and there was no way I wasn't going to quickly put those puppies to good use!

It only took Joe about 30-40 minutes for the entire installation. Both light assemblies must come out, and the passenger side assembly is easier to wiggle out than the one on the driver side. (Switch that, of course, for my fellow Brits who still live on the other side of the pond... )
