Got few questions though:
Where can you get ?80 SB? half of the brand new price
And how you measure these figures with your naked eyes?

I know one reason people love the sprint booster is because of how easy it is to install. I know you had this done for you but is it just as easy to install? How did he attach the control to the car?
Thanks for the great write up!!

looks like a good mod! you have not tried a car that has a SB right? how about try driving a car that has a SB if you know anyone in the UK that has it, and compare the 2? I'm just curious how much the difference is. I'm thinking of getting this for my M3.
i've been trying to locate a distributor for these and I cant even find the company who makes these. Can anyone gimme some info so I can setup a GB for these? Economy's tough man and every penny counts.
Hi,
If anyone is interested in buying a unit your best of contacting Wilson (PM), I told me that he only has a few unit left.
I did ask why the company doesn't have a webpage (as I thought it was a little strange) and he told me they are trying to get a patent for the technology before launching it on the internet.
The installation is very easy, I would even say easier than SB (from what I've heard and seen). On this unit all you need to do is disconnect the throttle cable, plug Velocity in and route the cable to where you want the unit. There is no need to cut the carpet at all. The whole installation took around 3-5 minutes.
In my case, the cable is tucked under the plastic panel right next to the throttle, and the unit is stuck using double sided tape to the underside of the dash. My car is going back into BMW on Saturday, so I have to take the unit back out. But once i get my car back I'm actually going to put the unit in that little glove box thing under the light switch.
The cables aren't long enough to route to glove box - but I don't really see why you would want to? The actual unit is very small around 4x7x1 cm (i think).
I haven't tried a sprintbooster myself, but over on Singapore forums they've had both and they've all said Velocity is a clear winner.
Personally, I made the mistake of buying a 520d when I should have got 530d, so buying this unit for me was a must. And given what it's done to my car I could only imagine, that Velocity on bigger engines would be insane!
I'm sure sprintbooster is good, but I would have kicked myself knowing that their was something better on the market if I had bought it.
Clearly given the price tag its not for everyone - but when your spending ?40k + on a car, what's another ?280 or so?
