First off, installation was very fast and simple. It might have taken 10 minutes. I will post pics of where I installed mine shortly.
Now how does the product perform, you ask? Let me start off by saying that although I have a manual tranny, this product makes a HUGE difference! I've never owned a Sprint Booster, so I can't compare to that, but I can tell you I am very very satisfied with my purchase (THANK YOU ERIC @ PYSPEED!).
As previously mentioned, the Velocity has the ability to adjust the sensitivity as well as to power on/off. This is a big plus since on occassion, my wifey drives my car.
The first two settings are a mild boost in the throttle sensitivity. When you get to the third setting, wow! This is where I think I will keep it for daily driving. The throttle response is near instantaneous. It's like not having a drive-by-wire car, but rather an actual throttle cable. When you get to the fourth setting, look out! The throttle is sooooo sensitive, it's crazy. This setting will take some getting used to, because the throttle response IS instantaneous! My worry is that I'm going to burn through my clutch. LOL!
What's pretty cool is you can be cruising down the road at a constant speed, hit the + button to advance a setting and your car will speed up. This product is a must have for those who do not have either a SB or ECU program to get rid of the lag
I know there is no actual gain in actual HP or TQ, but it certainly "feels" like there is a performance gain. Well, I suppose throttle response can be considered a performance gain, since when you get a peformance ECU program it gets rid of the lag, which is what the Velocity does and more!
