No I only got the error codes once on my stock 17's last summer before I put in the 19" 166's. I actually had no issues with the TPMS installed in the tire after I put on the aftermarket oem's. Odd.

In theory, you shouldn't have any problems. Since the iDrive on your car is not programmed to pick up TPMS signal, and the FTM continue to work normally regardless of TPMS.
