Valentine Conceal Display

Hi,
Does anyone use V1 Conceal Display module? Is it helpful? Does it connect directly to the main unit? I am about to order V1 and I'm not sure if I need the conceal unit.

It's one of the great features of the V1. It connects to the main V1 unit with a wire that comes with it.

I have my concealed display in front of the MPG gauge. It's a great location because when you hear a bogey you only have to look down slightly from your normal driving line-of-sight, and the mute button is in easy reach. The main unit lights are also off with it, so a cop behind you is less likely to notice you have a radar detector.
