You worrying about it tells the story..... Install the V1 and buy a Hyundai and let him learn on that!

Tough economy right now to be getting that 3rd car...And I really want him to earn that car when he's 16+ years old (via academics and good behaviors). It's a nice carrot I can dangle for a while!

He's been driving mommy's ES350 too -- but likes the bimmer better

At 15 in MN you just have your permit and cannot drive w/out adult in the car. I could tell he was a bit taken back by the torque in the car at first, but he's getting a little bit of a lead foot these days..I'm afraid he is as intoxicated with the 08 sport exhaust notes as his daddy..
uh oh that's no good. when i was 15 all i talked about was cars, cars, cars, racing, more cars and really fast cars. so my parents locked up all my money in CD's. i was pissed at first but 3 years later im behind the wheel of a 545i Sport. i earned my parents trust in order to buy this car. a nice little toyota or mazda will do him good.

+1 on the great responses...

And yes, the V1 has save my ass many, many times...The Directional arrows are unique to the unit.

Pays for itself many times a year. The cost of tickets and the insurance hit in MA is a ridiculous...

Best radar detector I have ever had and I've had a bunch...
