Has anyone had any experience using wheel adapters to convert from 5x120 to 5x114?
I saw a nice wheel with pattern of 5x114 and was wondering if anyone has any experience
if they are dangerous also while I am asking does anyone know about Modulare M2 wheels?
I was looking and saw a 20" for sale but doesn't say the offset...
I have a E60 M5 and want to know if that would fit my car...

114.3
gotta be asian car with that pattern or ford mustang... anyways... i dont recommand it and by the time you spend on money convert to 114.3 money you could spend on something else... also offset is not guarentee on them.. just stick with 5x120 ...
be german m5 not japanese m5

Personally, I don't think it should matter whether it's a "japanese" or "german" wheel and actually prefer a lot of the styles presented from Japanese wheel makers.
In terms of the adapters, they shouldn't present a big problem as long as they are installed correctly. For me though, I would rather make it easier for myself and just stick with a wheel that comes with the proper bolt pattern to begin with.
It is your car, so do as you please with it and enjoy it!

oh i didnt meant japanes or german wheels... i meant as japanese wheel bolt pattern...
after i was thinking i dont know how it is going to work... e60 are hubcentric and if bolt pattern is differnt then it wont be no longer hubcentric which means you have to get a one that is you have to use lug nuts instead of bolts... which means you might have have to get good set of lug nuts with good locks...
but i really dont recommand it...

Thanks for you input I guess it's better to stick with the original bolt patterns...
