How long will the tire repair kit last? Do I have to go to a rim shop so they patch the tire from the inside?

I have falken 452's 245/35/20 in the front. I found a huge bolt in it earlier. Had to take it out and use the filler. Any recommendations on what to do next?

As long as the puncture is not on the sidewall, it should be okay to get it patched. Bring it to a wheel shop and have them use a plug/patch combo from the inside.

No side wall. It's dead center in the tire. Now I only am able to fill the puncture and not get the patch yet. Is that ok to drive for a day or two? I'm not accessible to a patching place.

You'll be fine for a while with just a plug. Just take it easy.

I had the same problem with a screw puncture in my front passenger falken 452 tire last year, I plugged it myself and drove couple days before getting it patched at a shop, I didn't have any problems driving on the tire plug, but I drove more cautiously (below 80mph) just in case, hope that helps.

Sorry to hear that. There is a tire shop on Staten Island that is open 7 days per week and does patches. It is on Forest Avenue near the Goethals Bridge (very close to the Loew's home improvement store). I got a nail in my tire about a month ago and fixed it there on a Sunday.

What filler did you use? Do you have 3 piece wheels? If you used fix a flat, and have 3 piece wheels, you may have to get your wheel re-siliconed.
