just install my AFE CAI, not sure if i did it right....
there's this part with a grommet and a 1/4" valve thing that i don't know where to use it for
seems like it should get plug in to the tubing that has a little hole? but it mention that i should put the vacuum line into this valve? basically the grommet with this 1/4" valve is still sitting in my trunk and i have no idea where to plug it to or what's it for

also, for the MAF, the two screws that is supplied isn't quite right. the original one is torx but this is too big for the AFE slot, so i try the supplied screw but it doesn't quite fitting right

on top of that, it seems very hard to get the tube all tight, just afraid i don't have a good seal... lastly there's a rubber piece that's like over 1' long, is that supposed to go around the filter at the housing?

 

hopefully someone can post about it and help. but if not, i know all the nor cal guys go to sonic motorsports. vt when he had his 545, sonic did the custom fitting of a AFE for a 550. just a suggestion.
