If you ask about ACC2 retrofit, i think you have to remove from FA S544A, add to FA S5DFA. Write FA to CAS and LM, VO code CAS ,LM,DSC... Not sure about other ecus but DME,EGS,VTG,SZL,KOMBI i think should be coded with new VO too. Or you can code ecus not all at the same time. If somethink will not work you will code one more ecu that is related to work with your new option.

Another question, are S-CAN lines only specific to ACC system between LDM and sensors? I dont see any connection to those lines to the rest of the car from the wiring diagram.

 

According to wiring diagram, you are correct. Its like night vision camera communicating on LIN-bus with NVE. Or LM with RLS.... But there is no LIN bus with all car.
