My Ride: 2004 530da: black sapphire metallic, remapped, pdc, xenons, dynamic drive, sport seats,
Hi guys!
I tried to search first but couldn't find the info what i'm looking for.
I have e60 530d, 03/2004. It has business nav, bt, voice command and "standard" climate control. I know here is plenty of people who have updated to pronav succesful. But i'm just wondering because i have standard climate control instead advanced. Is that causing some problems?
Thanks for help!

Yep i'm talking about navigation.
I don't how it's in USA but here in europe we have two option, navigation business and navigation professional. Or infact three, third one is no nav at all
Maybe e60 owners from europe knows something about updating to navpro?

My Ride: '04 530d Executive, all options except sunroof and comfort seats
ECU remapped by ZipTuning to 260+bhp.
@jusdoit:
The options are:
No nav: small idrive screen, no navigation (you'll have car info instead in the idrive menu)
Business nav: small idrive screen, simple nav (only arrows i believe)
Pro nav: large idrive screen, advanced nav
I can't understand people who ordered no nav or business nav on their 5-er.
The small idrive screen totally destroys the look of the dash (all that ugly plastic around the screen to fill up the void around the smaller screen)
Also business nav is by far not as useful as pro-nav.

I'm not asking how to do it. I'm asking is it possible with standard climate system. Somewhere here in forum someone was talking, that it might be impossible to update to pronav if you DON'T HAVE ADVANCED CLIMATE SYSTEM. But if there is no answer for that question, then i just have to try it myself.

Thanks a lot. It was first helpful reply in this topic. I have already bought second-hand ccc and 8,8" screen. If someone have those missing parts (ccc fan wiring harness, controller high) for sale, i'm willing to buy. I'll keep you guys updated.
