lets all tell him we were joking and how nice the M badge is. It is a trick we play on noobs.
I think it is ridiculous that people think that by simply leaving the badge out that this is totally accdeptable. It is just as much posing with or without the actual m5 badge because he has other things that ONLY come on an m5 like the side grilles for example and the whole package with quads etc. If you make it look exactly like an m5 with or without the badge it is posing as an M5. Then you are just posing as M5 ownders who debadge-it is disrespectful to those who can afford a real car.
A 520i-what is the 0-60 on that? seriously is it in the 9-10 second range? If I was that poor I would not waste money on a bmw. There is a minimum performance standard I would need to even enjoy a bmw's driving characteristics and 260hp is just enough so I cannot imagine what 135hp or whatever yours comes with is like.
What a loser and poser. have fun ya phony

Um, considering most members here do not have an M5 but DO have an M-Tech kit or similar that replicates the M5 look does not mean they are poor, posing, or phonies. Some probably can afford the M but have other priorities (kids for one), but to ridicule this OP because he went all out is just wrong. You have an M5? Congratulations, pics please. Otherwise, shut up and let the man adorn his car as he sees fit. The M5 is the dream car of everyone here who doesn't have one.
What is more interesting to me is that you seem to be one of the few, if not the only M5 owner so uptight about this. I would suggest therapy to deal with your inadequacy issues.

Not only the Badge, I think the M5 bumper, front, side grill, and quad exhausts are all poser status.
If you want to mod your car be creative and be original, not a look alike of the Top 5 series car.
If I saw a regular 5 with M5 body kits and quad exhaust from a distance I would think its a M5.
This is just my opinion though.

Seems like a ton of work went into getting a non-M to look like an M. Me? I'm lazy, I would've just gotten the M, it's easier. Sorry, not a poser fan, there is a poser thread though (and they may have just found their new VP)
