here is the DIY that will do the trick (and save you 400 USD)... Basically you take the ecu from your current mirrors and put them in your m5 mirrors. Is an additional hour work...

It's very sucks for you that you get the wrong //M5 Mirror.
There are many differen't //M5 mirrors on the market.
With/without folding
With/without EC glass
3plugs many wire's
1 plug 3 wire's, this one will fitted on the LCI models, just ask Macfly ;-)
I'am glad that what i sold it fitted everytime wich each car,
LCI models after 2007/3, models til 2005/9 and post 2005/9 til 2007/3
Macfly= LCI 2008 everything worked like auto folding, auto dip, autodimming, pudelle led lights, heated.
Wees75= Build 10/06 I think date 550iA Pre LCI, everything worked like comfort functions, autodimming, autodolding, puddele ed lights, auto dip.
Doc_Horror=E63 645, pre 2005/9, everything worked like, auto dimming, autofolding, auto dip, puddele Led lights, heated.

The mirrors what i sell are totally differen't I think.
My //M Mirrors have all functions (full loaded) Like autofold,autodimming, EC glass, auto dip,puddele led lights etc etc.
You don't can compere those mirrors, they are totaly differn't, No autofold, no auto dimming glass EC featueres, that way is the price cheaper. If you wan't to compare, go look for //M mirrors with ec glas, and autofold, you will see that the price will be totally differn't. not 850 USD but, 1600 till 1700 USD I think.
Way I think that the price will approximate 1700 USD?? Because i recived an Email from a memer from the STATES USA, Look@ it.
painted and installed, about $2,000. whats a fair price for them?
Normaly only one EC glass is the price approximate 250 USD 1 pices. 2 pices= aproximate 500 USD, and you will buy a completly //M mirror with house, motor, wire, led light for approximate 175 USD for one pices??, thats impossible I think.
I only deliver full loaded //M mirrors not the cheap version.
for your question No i don't can deliver it for 850 USD
