I just read in my newest edition of Roundel (Dec 2004) that the M sports package will NOT be offered here in the states. They claim the M5 apperance should "remain destinctive". But if you go here to the Bekkers Web Site you can get it aftermarket .

Why Is BMW NA so lame???

They want the M5 to remain distinctive and yet they offer the M Sports package to many other countries (UK, Australia, etc) except the U.S.??

Doesn't seem to make much sense.

Thank goodness for aftermarket mods.

Well Bekkers... you'll have a customer if you are willing to import and sell only the front end (*front bumper*) only of the M-Sport Pack...

I agree 100%... BMW NA being so damn stubborn might prove to be Bekker's gain. Although I too am only interested in the front end. If they broke up the package- do you guys think the price would be cut right in half?? I'm almost leaning that the front may cost a few bucks more due to the grille,etc... Whatdya think?
