Looks like Greyhound has my Umnitza shipment, M5tech front, sides and mtech rear. Anyone ever try and pick this up in their E60? Or do I need an SUV or truck? Thanks.

 

Truck/SUV is recommended.

 

sounds like if you think you might need a truck... then use a truck, beer is usually a good payment for your buddy's time

Definitely a truck, the front bumper alone barely fit into my E61 wagon with the seats folded down!

 

i was able to fit my side skirts easily and a front bumper by taking everything out the box and using some smart angling....

LOL! I did the same thing. I don't know about the rear bumper though. Borrow a truck or rent from U-haul for $19.95 per day.

 

to be honest....if it were me, id take a friend & their car for the other bumber...

fitting the two side skirts and one bumper just took some smart thinking/angling....the other bumper is either a second car or a second trip. but its doable!

 

Truck and some rope or nylon bungee to tie it down.

 

I recall reading that a member here carried the rear bumper with one of the ends sticking out of the sunroof.

What I did was lean front passenger seat all the way back. From the rear driver-side door, bring the sideskirts in and place them on the passenger seat. The front bumper went on the back seat with a part of it on top of the sideskirts. Use lots of padding. All the hardware can go in the trunk. I don't know where you will put the rear bumper though. I guess a second car would be required for that...or a truck.
