I dont understand... how did you guys get these headlights apart? I know the recent BMW headlights dont come apart like all the other headlights out there. Aren't these lights sealed with silicone? Silicone doesn't melt... and you basically have to rip it out, how did you go about that? Any condensation/moisture issues?

Please look at the install guide on the product page, we basically cut them apart.
Same as we would for your CLS, which we have done already once before as well.

Well, lol, anything will melt if it's hot enough.

But to answer your question, I used a solder gun and melted the plastic housing. Needless to say, it's not for the faint of heart.

Jeez, no thanks, I've done several CLS headlights myself and you don't need to cut them open. Besides, AE's on anything other than a BMW are over rated.

idk if i want to mess with $1000+ headlight to just install this AE... im happy with MtechV2 ... it is already bright enough... this will be good mod for halogen headlamp but idk if it would be good for xenon adaptive...
