Nope, thing is, since the fog lights has grills, the air / wind goes through there too and the opening goes to that for the brake ducts. Also us with the 525i/530i dont need much brake cooling.. we dont go that fast.

The opening is nice and wide on the fog light section and the center, the wind easily get's blown into there, but not fully directed like it has with vents.

Btw Jack, it looks awesome!!! Damn, now I have to do something to make me different... Ugh! I need to sell this stupid splitter then I can put on my custom style V splitters. =)
Hmmmm....I don't know man. The bumper looks awesome. Actually wished that's how the M5 came from the factory so we can have foglights too but by not accounting for the factory brake ducts it seems to me like they took a short cut with the design. Whether or not it's necessary based on engine size or driving style is a different story.

that's true. I believe Silver545 left the brake ducts from the mtech/oem bumper and slide on the new bumper one so it rests in the front grill, its just not integrated smoothly like Mtech or M5 or OEM. Its doable, but like i said... my lowly 530i doesn't need it. I drive like a grandma and in NYC the roads dont allow u to go over 60MPH. LOL

Can i please ask a question......

I have been to the umnitza website to order front/sides/rear for my stocker 530i ('04)

On the front bar page.. there are a few options...
=======================================
03-07 Models (04 really but 03 build date)
1) E60 Mtech Bumper with PDC + FOG
2) E60 M5 Bumper with PDC Without Fogs
3) E60 Mtech Bumepr without PDC + Fog
4) E60 M5 Bumper without PDC Without Fogs
Note that if you want to get the M5 bumper, you cannot get the fogs or have any way of mounting the fogs.
If you want the Mtech bumper, you can choose to get PDC or no PDC, but they both will accept Fogs.
========================================

now from the pics on this thread, it looks like the M5 bumper comes with FOGS, or you move your existing fogs over or something???

I love the front bar in this thread ..... but I am now confused by what I am reading on the umnitza site..

I am in OZ, so I don't want to fudge this up and then get a nice new bumper that is not going to look like the one in this thread...
can anyone clarify.. PUHLEASE!!!!
