Some comments for you.
1) I think your expectations were set a little lofty by all the happy people posting on this thread. You have to understand that in order for you to get the maximum benefit of ICE, you have to see it during DUSK and night hours, which is when it really "shines" for lack of a better pun.
2) Your comment about a competitor being bright? It's physically impossible for a 1W product to be brighter than a 5W product. So that's just that.
3) The 10W OE bulb is unrelated to the 5W measurements and aren't related. A 10W LED - now we're talking. But the 10W halogen doesn't produce that much light - it's HELPED significantly in that it spreads that light out into the parabola reflector and that helps increase some of that output. But wait til night, it will really show you the differences.
4) We're working on raising the output already and RGB is only a few days away from receipt as well.
Again, my apologize for perhaps setting your expectations to high.
I've always claimed that my product is 2X brighter than the competitors, but I've never claimed it was 2X brighter than OE, that's left to my other product the Predator Chromium - of which we have over 5000 happy customers.

What's the diff between ICE V2 vs Predator Chromium vs PIAA LED 6500K one?
I wonder how it would look, w/ XENIX highbeam (once Dealer programs my DRL to be ON) + ICE V2 AngelEye rings as DRLs during day light

I never said, AIB is brighter. This is my first Angeleyes upgrade, so I dont have anything to compare it to.

1) I know you didn't. I know it isn't (re competitor's product)
2) I understand what you mean (comparison)
3) ICE V2 - 5W LED vs Predator Chromium - high powered CCFL complete tube is self powered vs PIAA <-- YUCK.
Output:
ICE V2 = 5X brighter than PIAA - everyone here will tell you the same thing, PIAA is a mistake.
Chromium = CCFL - it's the brightest on the planet at this time. It sends output directly out, not through fiber optics, not through rings. So it's always going to be brighter.
now, how about looks.
Xenix are pretty good - not bad for a FREE bulb eh? Not bad for $30 either.
DO not have your Dealer program your car with DRL. Don't do it.

ohh.. I kept thinking ICEV2 is next version of Predator.. I should have gone for Predator instead of ICE v2?
So, how do you use Xenix? only to flash? Wish the bulb was not colored blue, when not lit, u can see a bit blueness on headlights.
Yah, DRLs on my car were disabled due to some upgrade they did last time, so didnt get it reactivated, just so I could use ur DRL harness and get other functionality
