U, sorry to be a pain, but I thought the extra wiring harness could be used for tapping the mirrors when unlocking the car ?!
that's what we established with coolguy at the beginning of the thread...
So, we don't need the extra wiring to enable that fading function?

good question, if you can take a pic of the housing i might be able to tell you , if the light housing is the same as the 07 with the same configuration as the OE angel eyes, I don't see why the AIB would not work , it would be as easy as uncovering the housing in the back, maybe removing the light housing, twist the oem angel eyes, pulling it out and plugging the AIB lights, placing it back in the housing and putting the cover back.
Just a replacement of the factory bulbs with simple plug and play appilcation
I cannot speak for Umnitza product, but im sure they will chime in shortly

My mechanic just called me and explained to me he'll let me know if he runs into any 'problems' hooking up the DRL's. I just wish there was a simple diagram that showed which connectors go exactly where.

It's a beta test unit - you have an Actual H8 bulb that you would twist out and install.
It's a new unit we're testing and it's only $99 for your car.

Superhung, now you are mentioning the correct information - the WIRING DRL harness instructions are going to be done this week, maybe today even.
