We dont worry about programming at the moment. The main issue we need to solve and go forward is the M5 brake pipes which are on their way as well as the petrol pipe.
Will post pictures as soon as i have results...

I have all the wiring loom of the donor car as well as all the electrical and mechanical parts needed for the transplat.

Is m5's steering rack much different? m5 has a faster steering ratio and I was planning on bolting it to my 530 since I don't have active steering. Any sensors or fittings that you notice to be different?

M5 steering wheel is servotronic and its tottaly different than mine and it has sensors as well

Hi there. Sorry for late response. We had many problems with the transplant like missing parts, sensors, brackets etc, although we manage to sort everything out and here is the outcome:
Everything has been tested and seems to work as it should be.
Next step is to rebuilt the interior.New individual dashboard in silverstone has been installed.
Hopefully by the end of the week we will be able to drive it
