The LEDS of a Pre-LCI 2004-2007 are different from the LCI 2008-2010. The new headlights have SMD LEDS.

Hi Eugene134, very nice what you did with the angel eyes.

I want to do the same but I don't understand how you do between IMG_2116.JPG and IMG_2118.JPG.

Have you more photos to explain how you did? Because I do the same as you to IMG_2116.JPG, but I don't know what to do next in order to be at the same step as IMG_2118.JPG.

Can you give us explanation or photos?

thank's a lot.

You cut the area around it, and take out the piece? Not sure where the confusion lies.

was thinking of doing this mod in the coming week but read in another thread that there was some condensation problem, has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Thanks

If you cut it right and seal it right, you will not get that problem. Previous installations had that problem but the last 4-5 jobs I've done, including my own headlights have not had a problem.

+1, just take your time. Make a clean cut and when putting it back, scrape off any rouch edges, gaps will be filled when you seal it! other guys are the pro, I've only done mine so far

Depending on which step you are at and how you want to turn them on.

I mean, literally the easiest would be to just plug it in, and turn the dial to parking light.

I've not looked too deep into it yet, but provided i can remove the section of headlight without a problem, can you recommend any particular process to follow to re-seal the light unit?

I read that there is a chance of some of the white LEDs purchased could end up being yellow, is there an easy way to check without actually installing them and finding out the hard way? I have a link to the following LEDs from the UK, shown below, can you please verify if these are the correct ones for the pre-LCI with standard halogen lights?
