My Ride: 2006 5 Series ????

I'm about to change my wheels. Front will be a 19x8.5 245/40-19 , Rear 19x9.5 ???????
What size tyre would be best for this application? Car is stock height.....

Magic number is 275.
I have the same setup and only some minor rubbing (bumps only) with the front tires... probably b/c of the unusual ET of my rims. However, I have the lower OEM sport suspension and it's actually not that huge an issue. You'll be fine with stock suspension.
As a matter of fact, 245/40 and 275/35 is one of the few combinations with sidewall heights looking identical.
Search the forum, if you need more details; lots of posts on this one.
Hint: Have been in your shoes 1 month ago myself..
