My Ride: 535d Eccelsa, 05 2005 (built 12-04), sapphireblack, beige dakota leather, electric seats, poplar wood trim, sport suspension, 124 style 18" alloys, differentiated f/r runflat tyres, steptronic, adaptive light control, bi-xenon, BMW PRO nav, cd, cd changer, electric-foldable and automatic antidazzle rear mirrors, automatic antidazzle internal rear mirror, adjustable central armrest, BT, Hifi Professional LOGIC7 , extended functions aircon, full lighting package, green comfort fascia on windshield, PDC park distance control, voice control, CPT9000 car phone, BMW Assist, BMW On-line, BMW Tracking, alarm system, programmable remote controls.
There was a lot of confusion (and some lies, I believe) in an italian BMW fans forum about TV functions added as an after-sale mod.
Somebody is claiming that any E60 can be upgraded with full TV functions just adding a small module worth 200,00 euros (about 140,00 USD).
What?s the truth? Anybody knows if any product is available on the market to add TV to a E60 car that has been deliverfed w/o it in origin?
Of course I don?t mean the simple modification of the original software done to allow you to watch TV while on the move.
Thanks

yea...i have a similar question but not quite. I want to convert the nav screen into DVD funtionality. I believe Nav-tv.com does something like this. Are there any companies out there that are considered to do a good job for the 545i?
i'm dying to get DVD playback in the car (you know for those long drives)

[/quote]Thanks to all. Do you know if the TV signal can be transmitted to other displays?
And what about getting input signals from other sources like DVD players?
