i was very impressed when i found out that the minimum power gains on a 530d is 262bhp and 600nm. Then i started to wonder what the power gains are on the 525d. I have e-mailed tuning box but no reply. Have they got a Uk phone number and who are there inporters?
also what is better, remap or tuning box? what are the advantages/disadvantages of each?

im thinking of getting a tuning box from www.tuningbox.com
there power figures of the 530d are exceptional. Dont know the 525d power figures but i guess around the same percentage in gain.

I had a Tuningbox on my 330D,it totally transformed the engine much smother power delivery,better throttle response,it pulled like a train not much could stay with it.The importer for UK is Westward Engineering in Ireland,I've got the phone number someplace will try to find it for you.On the 3 series it only took a max 10 Min's to fit and the same to take off, handy for service time.Tuningbox say it's undetectable by BMW computers but i would not take the chance to find out,had the car serviced twice not a word said replaced it after the service.I no a few owners with the Tuningbox and they are very happy with it.
