[quote name='pmmeke' date='Aug 8 2005, 06:51 PM']If your car is chipped or remapped bmw has a small little trick to find out in 3 seconds without opening the hood.

Just push the day counter millage reset stick that is situated on your dashboard behind the wheel. Press it for 4 seconds. If a triangle apears with a ! sign in it that means its remapped.

Test it out

If no triangle appears its still original

This is interesting.

Just wondering if anyone with a chip or reprogramming has tried this already.

just order the super charger for my e60 2004 530i sport it will take me from 225HP to 325HP and will push me faster than a stck 545i.? The sales guy told me they dyno'd it a tad faster than the stock 545i.

my cost with tax is 5275.16US dollars and i am installin it myself, guy said it was a bolt on and easy to uinstall and willnot void my warranty...
My ride is gonna be fast as hell for a 530i and for 5200.00 i feel is not bad for what you get....should have it in a week or so

Please tell us how the supercharger works out.
I'm also looking at supercharging my 2004 525i if a kit becomes available from ESS or VF
