This is exactly what mine looks like. Did you get your diffuser from overseas. Did you use 2.5 piping or 2.25

Quick question guys. I just did a muffler delete on my single side oem bumper. I am going with the M5 bumper soon and I want to keep the straight pipe The resonator has a large 3" diameter pipe on it. What should I do? I am thinking a 3" Y pipe that splits into 2 2.25" pipes so I can run to my tips at the rear for my quad setup.

Has anyone else done a quad muffler delete setup?

I believe that has been done before but you will be getting a lot of drone with that setup.

I think removing the existing Y and installing a 2in/2out Magnaflow will be a better option. You may still have some drone but remember that current Y section has no sound deadening function at all. That Y section is NOT a resonator. If you dont care about the drone, then get rid of the Y pipe and put in a standard 2.25" X pipe, readily availiable from many sources.

Good luck

I have no drone with my current muffler delete and it sounds amazing and is inaudible at crusising speed, so adding a Y pipe split and new tip would have no difference in the sound or drone. I was told the factory system has a x pipe in it already. I have run around for a month with no muffler and its amazing, so I am just looking for the best way to turn my single exit muffler delete into a dual/quad muffler delete.

Theres no X pipe if it has one outlet. There is no other place in the system where the gasses converge.

Diffuser is from eBay, but it came from Hong Kong. It was the only one I found at the time that didn't have tacky extra vents or shitty design. It wasn't expensive either, and the build quality is really nice actually. I've bought a ton of FRP and carbon aero parts over the years with all my drift cars and have seen horrible to great quality from these, this one is pretty well made. I don't care about the carbon part, I planned on painting it body color, but it's so low that you can't really tell it's not the body color as it's always in the shadow.

I'm pretty sure the piping is 2.25" as the quad tips in the back are a 2.25 inlet.
