Im trying to do a quads set up as well. I already have the mtec rear bumper. I looked at the set up that has the Magnaflow muffler by the rear axle, and then its straight pipes to the tips. Is this the same set up is been talked about here?

The difference is that West and myself will have two magnaflow resonators installed between the muffler and tips. This will help eliminate any drone.

quads can be made for the non m e60 to produce power. the reality is tho by the time you put all the research and development into it, the price of the exhaust would entirely to costly. I'm sure there will be few people out there that would be willing to purchase such an exhaust, but I'm willing to bet that most will not pay $3k-4K for an exhaust system. but to those who are willing to put in the time/effort/money into producing the exhaust. can't wait to check out some power producing systems.

Im not understanding, hasn't the exhaust from member "west" and the UMNITZA one both been prove to have dyno proven HP gains? And they're both under $1000.

^^^ You are correct. West showed a gain of 10hp with his system hence the reason I'm going to use the same setup. My exhaust system will be full stainless steel mandrel bent which is equivalent to what you'd buy from RPI, Supersprint, etc but this will be a true dual exhaust setup with quad tips, not just an extension of piping going to the pass rear side with a tip.

The layout looks the same. Just look at the pics West posted earlier in this thread and you'll get an idea of how the layout is.
