I have been on the sidelines debating if I should go OEM or reproduction for my M5/Mtec mods. Fitment and quality have been my major concerns. I finally decided to test the waters with the side skirts and purchased them through Trinity.
Trinity was a breeze to work with and the parts arrived in roughly a week. I had them installed at D&V Auto in Sterling Virginia. D&V did an excellent job and I would recommend them to others in the area. I will state that I found body shops in the DC Metro area to in general to be on the order of $100 to $200 more than what others on the forum have paid for this work.
D&V said they really liked the quality of the Trinity Part - They commented that it was on the order of OEM quality. They said this from two perspectives. (1) they said the part arrived in excellent condition and took the paint easily without needed extra work. (2) they said the parts popped right on just like OEM.
I love this mod. It is a very simple body part but it gives the car a markedly more aggressive look. My feeling is the e60 shouldn't come without these side skirts, they work really well with the lines of the car and really complete the overall look.
That much said - here are the photos - they really don't do this justice - in person it makes a big difference on the car.

If Mr. Nerwyll makes me an "offer I can't refuse" - the front bumper would be on next

Hey - Work has been crazy. I have numerous major programs that are up for "recompete" and that means lots of cycles writing proposals.... I left work at 4am this morning and was back in by 10 working towards a 2pm deadline. From there it was off to the body shop to get the skirts installed! That was the highlight of the day.
